Foxiry (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Foxiry Android mobile application (“App”), an English vocabulary learning application designed to teach the 5,000 most commonly used English words using images, pronunciations, and exercises including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Foxiry Android application.
1. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information
Foxiry does not require account creation and does not directly collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
b. Microphone Permission (Speaking Exercises)
Foxiry requests microphone access exclusively for the speaking exercises feature.
- Used only while the speaking exercise is active
- Audio is processed locally on the device
- Audio is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted
- Audio is not shared with third parties
Microphone permission is optional.
c. User Messages & Technical Information
When a user sends a message through the in-app contact or feedback feature, Foxiry may collect the following technical and diagnostic information:
- Message content provided by the user
- Device model
- Android version
- Screen resolution and screen DPI
- App language / locale
- Connection type (e.g. Wi-Fi or mobile network)
- IP address
- Message creation timestamp
This information is collected solely for support, debugging, and service improvement purposes.
We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or user tracking.
d. Usage & Diagnostic Data
We may collect limited, non-personal usage data such as:
- Feature usage statistics
- App performance metrics
- Crash and error logs
This data is used only to improve app stability and user experience.
2. Advertising
Foxiry is a free Android application and may display in-app advertisements in the future.
Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may collect:

This data is processed under the privacy policies of the respective advertising providers. Foxiry does not control how third-party advertisers use this data.
Users can manage ad personalization through Android system settings.
